It is important to remember that eliminating bed bugs from your home is a process that can take many months. 

While foggers and sprays may eliminate the existing bugs, they do not take care of their eggs and therefore will need to be re-applied every six to eight weeks for probably six to eighteen months.  Vacuuming carpet and furniture can help remove eggs, but remember to throw out your vacuum bag and clean your filter to remove any lingering eggs and avoid introducing them to other areas of your home.  Professional steam cleaning can also help.
